Mercado, Tucson AZ

boy extending hand (1 of 1).jpg

While visiting the Mercado in Tucson I saw this boy extending his hand for assistance. I immediately thought of how many times,  children have used the same gesture.

Dane

4th Ave in Tucson has a host of characters. Some are street people living by their guile. Others, well others are just different. I met Dane after a walk around the block several times. Interesting character. He said he lived in a trailer park in Tucson and was 66 years old. He loved to talk to strangers.

Street Balloons?

Downtown Tucson again looking for the unusual. So what do I run across but some balloons painted on a wall by a local artist. They looked so real. Obviously someone that liked soccer.

Shaman

I came across this local Shaman at Helldorado Days in Tombstone. He wanted me to take his photo, he was dressed to “the nines”. I didn’t get a chance to speak with him but I understood he came all the way down from Phoenix.
